McLeod Pottery is run by Fiona who enjoys her work as a potter. Fiona has been learning her craft for over 20 years ever since she was 18 and moved to New Zealand.

 

Living in Castlecliff, Whanganui and being close to the beach inspires many of the colours in her work. She creates mainly functional domestic ware with the odd piece of garden art and sculptures. She also teaches pottery skills, both handbuilding and throwing.

 

The main influence in her domestic ware is useability that will bring pleasure to the owner and beauty to the home it is in.
